So I had to walk in, took around 20 minutes, I have to say so. And I got some explanations. I went inside to pick it up. They basically at the front desk, they write you down on a piece of paper, then somebody is going to go in the back of the store. This is a big store. They go all the way to the back, then they pick up the product, then they come back and that entire thing took 20 minutes.

I have it on my phone, I basically took a screenshot when I actually received the product. It takes forever. But as of today, this is not a good experience. I still need to receive a few other products. A new product arrived and you can see it here. Basically this product is ready for pickup and they are going to hold it until February 25th, which I really like that they show it here. This is not curbside, guys. You cannot have a customer waiting outside twice, this is the second chance.

Yes, to pick up something curbside, I have an order that I want to pick up. All right, what line are you on? Are you out front or in the back of the store? Alright, and what is your order number? I hope you guys can see me when I drive around. So let me just explain. Telling the phone number, the order number twice, waiting on the line for three minutes and a half. And then you have to drive again around is definitely not the way to go.

And after I tell them my order number, why did they ask me again about it? You know, like the second person. Oh, I found it, curbside pickup.

Oh, my goodness. So check out, you have to basically drive here in the back of the store, and here they have the signs that are not in the front.

Overall, not a good experience, because this should be automatic, you know? And this again, takes time. Three minutes. Okie dokie. She did it. Okay, so we have the product. You know, after that, two minutes and a half, plus three minutes, about five minutes. Back and forth. So, as you can see, I can see here on my camera, seven minutes, and you know, a few seconds, seven minutes, 15 seconds from the moment you arrive until you give them a call, until they answer, they redirect two — three times, they send you around the store in the back.

And after that, you actually get the product. So, a lot of room for improvement. And as I said, this should be automatic, not on the phone. It would be just a much faster and better experience. And these signs should not be just showed there, they should be outside telling you Hey, this is where you pick it up.

Okay, so I ordered three products. And when I returned them all, I clearly cannot do it because they only allow one product at a time, and only two work. So really bad experience from that side.

Okay, track your return. Good, print label, all that is good. So, all this is good. I like this tracking page for the return. I like it a lot. This is really nice. Package arrived December I live about 2 hours from Calgary. Canada post was swamped through December. Day after day. I do realize cp is slow. The issue is cabelas not shipping in a timely manner. When it comes to shipping and delivery times it will always be hit or miss.

The more urgently you think you need it, it'll never be fast enough. I made two separate online purchases on Boxing Day, a product from Evansville, Indiana and the other product out of Vaughn, Ontario. The package from Indiana arrived early this morning, the one from Ontario is still in transit according to the tracking. If I buy anything online, I expect to wait. Takes a week to two weeks in my experience and that was ordering several times in Nov and Dec. Cabela's shipping is as good as or better than most online shopping that uses Canada Post.

I like that Cabela's employs Canada post to send emails providing progress on shipping and delivery. They will split shipping on items that are not currently in stock or for items that are shipped from different locations. Never again will I buy from cabelas. Wait time for customer service is about 40 mins. Terrible customer service.

Cabelas does not stand behind the products they sale. Once the sale is cmetw you are on your own. A fishing rod I recently purchased, snappped while retrieving a large fish. Cabelas staff in Saskatoon accused me of misuse and refused any support. As a fisherman of 50 years experience, having never had a rod break, and being accused of doing so, I felt I should respond. Just wondering, i placed an online order to be shipped to Toronto on Monday. I received an order confirmation and thats about it!

Their customer service number never answers Anyone passed by the same situation? Terrible company to order from. Charged my credit card pending and held me ransom. Delayed shipping. I tried calling.

Gave up on that. Emailed to cancel my order and they responded they cannot. The order is still pending. It hasn't shipped. This is the last order I will place with Cabelas. Products used: Ordered a fish finder. If I get it I will return and buy it from Sail. Ordered a few items online. All the items were in stock in the province of Ontario where I'm located.

Order takes 10 days to arrive from Calgary instead of shipping from Ontario. Order comes missing most expensive item.

Asks if I still want the item I obviously wanted If I ordered it in the first place or a refund. Credit card was already charged for item not even shipped even though policy is to charge after item is shipped.

Was my first time ordering from Cabela's and it will undoubtedly be my last. I should of listened to all the other horrible reviews scattered all over the web. I realize that these are difficult times but a month ago I placed an order for curb-side pick up at our local store.

The longest I sat on hold on the phone was 20 minutes and I finally had to hang up due to the crap music I was forced to listen to. I get that, but for the love of god, you need a better system in place to at least let people know what is going on with their order. Won't be shopping here any time soon. If you want to prevent a 2 week wait pony up for the expedited shipping or pick up in store. Nov 15 I ordered an, electric ice auger and a month later item not yet shipped out. Front desk stated they had lots in inventory but were never able to ship one out even after many calls and with half hour wait times. Note I live in Quebec. Note: I emailed several times and asked that someone responsible email me or call me to explain why the delay to no avail.

Very bad job. Ordered a pellet gun after long wait and phone calls and emails I get a delivery notice from the post office that I have to drive 20 miles one way to sign for it, no big deal if their was no Covid19 and your not 70 with one lung. Ordered a firearm from them and came damaged.

From the get go they started with: well look at the damages but all firearms are final sale. As if they were preparing me for dissatisfaction. They are rude, not accommodating and made me a ridiculous discount offer in order to NOT exchange my product. Absolute nonsense. How does a company not exchange a product that came shipped to the client damaged.
