Venom Vs. Used to be a cop. Now I've got a crazy symbiote using me as a host. However hard I try to educate it, whatever I do to bring it up properly, it misbehaves. And it brings out the worst in me. It's destroying me. What do I do? What's the answer? Former Powers. Red and Blue Symbiotic Costume: Toxin possesses the "unique" special abilities of his two symbiote predecessors. He can stick to walls, can change his identity to that of a completely different person and also has unlimited webbing, which takes on a shape of a steel chain in his case.
Toxin can also blend in with its surroundings and become undetectable while camouflaged, and he can form solid weapons from his limbs like his father.
Toxin also seems to have some sort of quick-healing ability like his predecessors, as his wounds from his first battle with Razor Fist healed instantly. Unlike the others, Toxin can track anyone, not just other symbiotes, as long as he has something to begin from, within the entire city of New York and possibly further.
Superhuman Stamina: He can exert himself for at least 48 hours until fatigue impairs him. Superhuman Agility: His agility is superior to any normal human being. Superhuman Reflexes: His reflexes are superior to any normal human being. Superhuman Durability: He is much more resistant to injury than Spider Man, Venom and Carnage combined but still has the traditional symbiotes weaknesses but to a very minor degree.
The tissue the symbiote is composed of renders Mulligan's body much harder and much more resistant to physical injury than the body of an ordinary human. Mulligan can withstand high caliber bullets, great impact forces, powerful energy blasts, and falls from great heights without sustaining physical injury. He is durable enough that he can withstand multiple barrages of high caliber weapons such as machine guns from close range completely unperturbed, [6] can withstand blows from superhuman beings such as Wrecker, Spider-Man, Carnage, etc unharmed.
He also possesses an extreme resistance to pain, and seems to feel it only to a certain extent. Webbing: Toxin can project a powerful, organic web-like substance similar to the webbing Spider-Man has. He typically uses this webbing to swing from building to building or as a means of immobilizing someone. The webbing is incredibly strong. Regenerative Healing Factor: He can rapidly heal at speeds faster and more efficiently than a normal human.
Former Strength Level. Toxin is superhumanly strong and can lift within 44 - 80 ton range. Shortly after being born Carnage is his father , Toxin developed a symbiotic relationship with police officer Pat Mulligan and together, they were able to do a lot of damage to their enemies. Here are some things about Toxin that you might not have known from the comics. Patrick Mulligan, a police officer for the NYPD, was living his life to the fullest with his family, until Carnage dropped by and decided to incubate its offspring, Toxin , into Pat, without him knowing.
As expected, after some time, Toxin, the young Symbiote, made itself home in Mulligan's body and it showed itself when Carnage dropped by to kill Toxin. Mulligan was absolutely shocked to see himself like that, although he got an idea right after.
As soon as Toxin bonded completely with Pat Mulligan and revealed himself to be a Symbiote, Mulligan, a good-hearted family man, wanted to use the power he has gotten for good. Toxin was very young and it hadn't developed his thinking sense, thankfully. Mulligan used his powers for good, teaming up with Spider-Man and Black Cat a number of times.
It was absolutely incredible because Toxin never felt like an anti-hero such as Venom. Seems like Toxin always had a bit of banter with Mulligan and to be fair, the Symbiote was a bit young back then, so one expects some childish displays. One that was genuinely funny was when Toxin pulled a brilliant prank at the worst possible times.
Because Mulligan didn't let Toxin break bad and kill their enemies, one day, when Mulligan wanted to convert into Toxin, it decided to convert itself into an old guy called Larry, leaving Mulligan absolutely angry.
Toxin started showing more and more desire of killing its enemies and these homicidal tendencies left a huge impact on Mulligan, who, by then, had already left his family because he feared Toxin would do something horrific to them.
He did so without explanation and soon, the burden started showing on him. Toxin could figure out something was wrong with him and Mulligan attempted suicide by jumping in front of a train.
